The North East Specialized Geriatric Centre has also developed an evidence-informed resource to support caregivers of older adults. The ‘Compendium of Senior Friendly Care Caregiver Resources’ was designed to support families and caregivers of older adults. It provides tools and resources to support the health and wellbeing of caregivers, and to assist the caregivers in providing care for their loved one(s). This resource includes information on:

- Cognitive impairment, dementia and delirium
- Medication management

- social engagement
- staying active
- advanced care planning
- financial support
