Obstetricians at Health Sciences North recently endorsed the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada statement supporting COVID-19 vaccination for pregnant and breast-feeding women. In their statement they indicated that "the decision to vaccinate should be based on a woman's personal values and an understanding that the risk of infection and/or morbidity from COVID-19 outweighs the theorized and undescribed risk of being vaccinated during pregnancy or while breast feeding”.
