Congratulations Dr. Crichton - Regional Family Physician of the Year (North East)
The City of Lakes Family Health Team is proud to congratulate our very own lead physician, Dr. Tom Crichton – Regional Family Physician of the Year (North East) awarded by Ontario College of Family Physicians
Dr. Crichton has been a cornerstone of family medicine in Sudbury since opening his solo practice in 1991. His vision and leadership led to the creation of the City of Lakes Family Health Team, now serving over 21,000 patients across Greater Sudbury.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Crichton has dedicated decades to teaching and mentoring at NOSM University, shaping the next generation of physicians. He currently serves as Assistant Professor, University Senator, and Chief of the Department of Family Practice at Health Sciences North.
We are incredibly proud of Dr. Crichton’s commitment to patient care, education, and innovation in family medicine. This recognition is well deserved!
