Greater Sudbury's newest Geriatrician, Dr. Jo-Anne Clarke, made a presentation to the Family Health team on November 6th.
The presentation was entitled "Falls Prevention – What Does the Evidence Tell Us?".
Dr. Clarke's presentation represents one aspect of an evolving partnership between the City of Lakes Family Health team and the the recently opened Centre for Excellence in Seniors' Health.
Our team is in the process of implementing a Geriatrics Program that identifies falls prevention as a health priority for many of our elderly patients.Â
