On May 7-9, 2014, twenty-five FHT Executive Directors from across Northeastern Ontario gathered in new Liskeard for their annual Directors’’ conference.
Guests included Association of Family Health teams (AFHTO), the Northeast Local integrated Health Network (LHIN), Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) and Telus Health PS Suite.
The conference, among other activities, involved a strategic review session which generated 2014-15 collective priorities for the network. These include the following areas: Compensation & Wage Freeze, Governance & Leadership, Standardizing Ministry Submissions, and Budgets & Accountability Reform.
