Friday, November 14th, 2008 marked the Grand Opening celebrations of the City of Lakes Family Health Team’s newest clinic. Dr Chris McKibbon, Chair of the FHT Steering Group, welcomed local dignitaries including MPP Rick Bartolucci and Mayor John Rodriguez.
After a year of preparation and planning, and $1.2 million in renovations, the site opened its doors in July. It is located in a former wing of the Pioneer Manor senior’s complex.
The Sudbury clinic is one of four clinics planned to be open by the City of Lakes FHT throughout the City of Greater Sudbury. The FHT’s first clinic opened in May, 2008 in Val Caron.
