The City of Lakes Family Health Team is pleased to announce the appointment of two distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors following the recent Annual General Meeting. Melanie Briscoe and Stephanie Deschenes have joined the Board, bringing with them extensive expertise and leadership experience that will strengthen the organization’s governance and strategic direction.
Melanie Briscoe, began her health care career in 2009, and has established a strong record of health care leadership. A trained Occupational Therapist, Melanie currently serves as the Administrative Director of the North East Specialized Geriatric Centre. With a background that encompasses government relations, finance, human resources, and health care administration.
Stephanie Deschenes holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and brings a proven history of achievement in media relations, community engagement, organizational leadership, human resources, and finance. Stephanie is the Chief Operations Officer for the Canadian Association of Science Centres.
The City of Lakes Family Health Team looks forward to the contributions of Melanie and Stephanie as they join in guiding the organization’s mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to the community.
